With one exception, all of these were done for Container-It, LLC. They have used the art for calendars, website and trade shows. They are part of a collection called Great Moments in Container History, or, shall we say a well-researched, realistic, somewhat historically correct fabrication of an event or site. Since 2005, C-I has produced a calendar to send to clients which features one of these paintings, a different one for each year. Briefly, the process is simple. C-I comes up with a subject, then I research via library and the web in order to design several images, all in pencil. C-I selects one. I then render a half-sized (11x15 inch) pastel color rough. Once approved, I then draw a full size working tissue. Client signs off on this, and I am then off to the races. The acrylic painting begins life on a well-gessoed triple-weight illustration board. I am authorized to make giclee prints available for sale in varying sizes. For details, please call me at 706-216-4944 . | |||
